Capital, Technology, and Business in the New Context

The 2026 Inter-Faculty Scientific Conference (Faculty of Finance and Accounting and Faculty of Business Administration)

Vietnam is standing at the threshold of a new era of development—an era of national advancement—with the ambition of achieving double-digit GDP growth in the coming period. To realize this aspiration, the Party and the State have identified science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as top strategic priorities in the new growth model, as clearly reflected in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

In this context, the relationship between capital, technology, and business has become a critical issue. Capital serves as the input resource, technology acts as the driver of breakthroughs, and business represents the final stage of value realization in the market. However, in practice, this relationship in Vietnam still faces several gaps: capital has not yet been effectively channeled into technological innovation, technology commercialization remains limited, and enterprises continue to encounter significant barriers in accessing both resources.

The 2026 Inter-Faculty Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and the Faculty of Business Administration, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, under the theme “Capital, Technology, and Business in the New Context”, aims to create a platform for academic exchange, dissemination of research findings, and research collaboration among lecturers, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students from the two faculties.

The Editorial Board has selected 82 papers from lecturers, postgraduate students, and students. These papers cover diverse topics and are organized into seven sections as follows:

  • Section 1: Capital, Technology, and Business in the New Context
  • Section 2: Innovation and Digital Transformation in Enterprises

  • Section 4: Capital – Finance – Banking

The conference will focus on presenting and discussing four keynote papers:

  • Paper 3: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Development on Firm Operations in Vietnam
  • Paper 4: The Impact of Financial Literacy on Generation Z’s Intention to Use Fintech Services of Commercial Banks in Ho Chi Minh City

It is expected that the conference will receive diverse perspectives and insightful contributions from participants. The sharing of ideas on capital, technology, and business is anticipated to be profound and to generate valuable solutions. These outcomes are expected to support the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and the Faculty of Business Administration in better orienting their training programs to meet the demand for high-quality human resources in society.
