Faculty Scientific Conference 2024

Finance and Accounting is one of the fields significantly influenced by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the trend of digital transformation. Accordingly, accounting practices in enterprises and organizations worldwide, including Vietnam, in the context of digital transformation can be broadly characterized by five key technologies: the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Blockchain. These technologies aim to enhance the efficiency of financial and accounting processes, enabling them to be performed more quickly, anytime and anywhere, while ensuring higher levels of security. At the same time, accounting organizations within enterprises become more flexible, and financial reports provide more comprehensive, multidimensional, and valuable information.

In parallel, the Finance and Banking sector has been identified as one of the eight priority areas for early digital transformation. The sector is taking a proactive lead in implementing digital transformation roadmaps, with specific goals set for the 2021–2025 period to develop e-finance and digital finance.
