HUIT Introduces a New Learning Model – Flexible, Cost-Effective Learning with HUITx
As part of its vision of becoming a smart university, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) has officially launched an e-learning model through the new HUITx platform for Semester I of the 2026–2027 academic year. The University is also introducing attractive tuition incentives to encourage student participation.
A Strategic Step in the Digitalization of Education
As part of its strategy to develop and integrate its Learning Management System (LMS), Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has announced its training plan for Semester I of the 2026–2027 academic year. The most notable feature of this semester is the implementation of the E-learning system on the HUITx platform (accessible at: lms.huit.edu.vn).
HUITx is positioned as the University’s official online learning platform, developed and managed by HUIT. The system enables the digitalization of learning resources, lecture videos, interactive activities, and assessment processes. According to University representatives, this model not only optimizes learning management but also allows students to access knowledge anytime and anywhere, aligning with the ongoing digital transformation trend in higher education.
Courses identified by codes such as ABCD.. (E-learning Mode) are courses delivered through the online learning system.

What Makes HUITx Special?
HUITx is more than just a repository of learning materials; it is a comprehensive digital learning ecosystem that empowers students to take control of their own learning journey:
- High-quality digital learning resources: The platform integrates a rich library of lecture videos, summarized learning materials, and interactive quiz systems.
- Multi-dimensional interaction without distance barriers: Students can easily participate in academic discussions and communicate directly with lecturers and classmates through the forum system.
- Smart progress management: The platform automatically tracks and visually displays weekly completion rates through progress bars, helping students stay on track with their learning goals.
- Learn anytime, anywhere: With only a computer or smartphone connected to the Internet, students can study from any location and review lectures as many times as needed for revision.

Benefits of Choosing HUITx?
Courses identified by ABCD.. (E-learning Mode) offer several significant advantages:
- Financial incentive: A 5% tuition fee reduction compared to equivalent face-to-face courses.
- Balanced blended-learning model (10 weeks): 70%–80% of learning time dedicated to self-directed study on HUITx; 20%–30% of learning time allocated to face-to-face sessions or Zoom meetings for consultation and clarification.
- Clear orientation: Students will participate in an introductory guidance session (1–2 periods) via Zoom at the beginning of each course to understand attendance requirements, weekly assignments, and assessment methods.

Students should regularly monitor announcements and continue registering during the second registration period (June 17–19, 2026). During this period, the system will only allow new registrations and will not support class cancellations.
To ensure a smooth registration process and minimize technical issues, students are advised to use stable web browsers such as Google Chrome or Firefox. In particular, Safari on iPhone and iPad devices should not be used, as it may cause software compatibility issues when accessing the registration system.
For technical support, password recovery, or academic advising related to study plans, students may contact the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Academic Affairs, or their faculty office for timely assistance.
